Break The Cycle 2023 partners and official jersey design confirmed

Bristol Sport Foundation is delighted to announce the return of LDC as title partners for Break The Cycle 2023 and reveal a first look at the official jersey design.

Break The Cycle is Bristol Sport Foundation and Bristol Bears Community Foundation’s largest annual fundraiser, with this year’s event taking place on Sunday 16th July.

This is the fourth year that LDC, the private equity arm of Lloyds Banking Group, has proudly supported the Break The Cycle fundraiser as our title partner.

Hargreaves Lansdown, Santander, Sprague Gibbons, Molson, Plantforce, Aspire, Indigo Food Group, Whiteladies Business Centre, Alliance Communications, MHR Manager, BW Cycles, Bristol Beer Factory, Knee Specialists, Nando’s and Presca have also been confirmed as partners for Break The Cycle 2023 and will all feature on this year’s official jersey.

Ben Breeze, Chief Community Officer at Bristol Sport Foundation, said:

“We are incredibly grateful to the LDC team for their continued support of Break The Cycle, it’s fantastic to have them back as our title partner for 2023. The fundamental success of Break The Cycle would not be possible without the support of all our partners and it’s great to see our partnerships continue to grow and develop every year.

“Many of our partners have supported the event since the very beginning and we are proud to have so many local businesses get behind the event again this year as they can see the value in the life-changing work the Bristol Sport Foundation and Bristol Bears Community Foundation are delivering in disadvantaged wards in Bristol.”

Dewi Hughes, Partner and Head of South West & Wales at LDC, said:

“The passion and energy of the Bristol Sport Foundation’s staff is infectious. Its success to date in working with people of all ages, leading sports clubs, schools, and communities to unite and motivate people through the power of sport is truly inspiring. We can’t wait to get behind this year’s Break the Cycle event and wish everyone taking part every success.”

This year’s event on Sunday, July 16th, will give participants and charities the chance to raise money through sponsorship for a cause of their choice for the first time, while the funds raised through entry fees will go to Bristol Bears Community Foundation.

Participants can choose to cycle one of three brand new routes through the Mendips, designed by triple Olympian Oli Beckingsale. Riders can take a Bronze (42 miles), Silver (66 miles) or Gold (100 mile) cycle loop, which all start and finish at Ashton Gate Stadium.
