Bristol Sport Foundation – What’s going on in Term 2

After an eventful and fun-filled first term of the school year where we have had to adapt to a whole new way of working whilst still delivering high quality sessions, we are delighted to share an overview of our term 2 programme which are all open for bookings now – Click here to book!

After School Clubs
Our after-school club programme is designed with our partner schools to complement current sports clubs being delivered at that school to provide a wide range of extended opportunities for children to be active, enjoy playing sport and to develop both their generic and sport specific skills and knowledge.

Sessions are open to all with the emphasis is on fun and healthy competition with activities ranging from tennis, gymnastics and football to dodgeball, cricket and tag rugby, there really is something for everyone!

Hubs & Clubs
Our Community Netball Development Hubs and Badminton Clubs are returning for term 2.

Our netball hubs will take place on Thursday evenings at Coombe Dingle Sports Complex whilst our badminton clubs will continue to take place on Monday evenings at Thornbury Leisure Centre and Friday evenings at Sir Bernard Lovell School, Oldland Common.

Our clubs and hubs provide an excellent, fun, and inclusive environment for children to be active, play more sport, improve their existing game play and learn new skills from our experienced team of coaches.

Bristol Flyers in the Community
Our popular Bristol Flyers Community Basketball Development Hubs and Basketball Centre will be returning for term 2. Our development hubs and centre are great ways for children to play more basketball, improve their fitness and learn from our team of qualified and experienced basketball coaches including current Bristol Flyers first team player Josh Rogers.

The development hubs take place on Monday evenings at The Park Centre in Knowle and Wellsway School in Keynsham. The basketball centre takes place on Saturdays at Easton Leisure Centre.

Holiday Camps
We will also be running a full programme of holiday camps over the Christmas period from 21st – 23rd December, please keep an eye out for further announcements.
