Members of staff from Bristol Sport and external supporters are taking to the roads to raise funds for The Group’s three charitable foundations; Bristol Bears Community Foundation, Bristol City Robins Foundation and Bristol Sport Foundation at this year’s London Marathon.
A mixed group of experienced and novice runners will take their place at the starting line on Sunday 3rd October to tick the famously exhausting 26 mile route off of their bucket list. Included in that list is former Bristol Bears player and current Team Manager, Nick Fenton Wells who says: “I am running for Bristol Sport Foundation and Bristol Bears Community Foundation because of the tough time they faced during the pandemic. The work they do is vital in the wider Bristol community and there were many people who suffered off the back of their work being reduced significantly. I want to raise as much as I can for them to bounce back, but as importantly raise awareness of the important work they do.”
The funds raised will be split between to the foundations as part of the Group’s #ChangingLivesThroughSport campaign.

We wish all of the runners the very best of luck and we are extremely thankful to them for choosing us to raise funds for.
