We are delighted to announce our first ever athlete partnership. Shanel Drewe, a British racing driver based in Bristol, will be joining us to take over our mobile and web app for the month of March. Shanel has been racing cars for the since the age of 14, some of her most impressive achievements so far are:
· 2017 Bristol Post Young Sports Personality of the Year
· 2017 Michelin Clio Road Class Vice Champion
· Runner up – Downforce Radio Henry Surtees Teen Racer of the Year award
· Established her own company as a Supercar Instructor/ Racing instructor
Shanel will be providing us with four family friendly exercise videos to be released every Saturday morning throughout March focussing on fitness from the point of view of a racing driver, helping to keep Greater Bristol Active. Healthy. Happy.
Shanel Drewe said: “I strongly believe in never giving up on your dreams – for mine are becoming reality through never giving up. Despite not coming from the wealthiest background in motorsport and being one of the only females, my success in motorsport shows determination can turn the impossible to the possible!
Through the Bristol Sport Foundation app, I will showcase Racing driver workouts to all of you in the hope of getting everybody Active Healthy Happy despite the challenging times!”

Partnering with Shanel is a very exciting opportunity for us. Her sport requires a great deal of physical fitness, this not only helps Shanel drive and win titles, but also helps her remain focussed as the race unfolds around her.
