Shanel will be providing us with four family friendly exercise videos to be released every Saturday morning throughout March focussing on fitness from the point of view of a racing driver, helping to keep Greater Bristol Active. Healthy. Happy.

Shanel Drewe said: “I strongly believe in never giving up on your dreams – for mine are becoming reality through never giving up. Despite not coming from the wealthiest background in motorsport and being one of the only females, my success in motorsport shows determination can turn the impossible to the possible!

Through the Bristol Sport Foundation app, I will showcase Racing driver workouts to all of you in the hope of getting everybody Active Healthy Happy despite the challenging times!”

Bristol Sport Foundation Head Coach, Lara Short, said: “We are delighted to announce racing driver Shanel Drewe as our partner athlete for the whole of March. Partnering with Shanel is a very exciting opportunity for us. Her sport requires a great deal of physical fitness, this not only helps Shanel drive and win titles, but also helps her remain focussed as the race unfolds around her. Shanel is an influential young sportswoman and is on a mission to support Active. Healthy. Happy. lifestyles!”

We hope that this is the first of many athlete partnerships, so watch this space for announcements in the near future.
