Everyone Active Getting Behind Break the Cycle

We are delighted to welcome leisure and fitness centre management company Everyone Active as our latest Break the Cycle 2021 event partner.

Part of the wider Sports and Leisure Management group, Everyone Active are the longest-established leisure contractor in the UK who manage over 200 leisure and cultural centres across the UK in partnership with more than 60 different local authorities.

We are also excited to reveal that Everyone Active will be an integral part of our celebration event this weekend. As event partners, members of Everyone Active are able to get stuck in and help to fundraise for this worthy cause. On the mornings of Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th June, they will be transforming their group cycling sessions, at selected locations, into Break the Cycle fundraising events with participants able to make an optional donation to the fundraising campaign ahead of their class.

Gary Teagle, Contract Manager at Everyone Active, said: “Everyone Active is proud to be supporting this years BTC event, and will be offering weekend group cycling sessions as part of the event. Existing members and customers can join in by registering for the cycling  class of their choice. Sessions operate at Easton, Henbury, Horfield, Kingsdown and St Pauls over the weekend of 26/27th June. Customers will be able to donate on the day for this worthy cause. We look forward to seeing you this weekend.”

Rob Webber, Head of Operations at Bristol Sport Foundation, said: “We are so very grateful to Gary and the Everyone Active team for their support in running Break The Cycle spin classes, creating hundreds of opportunities for people to get on their bikes and support the work of our charities.

“Much like the rest of the nation we have been eagerly awaiting the announcements on whether restrictions were going to be eased and we could welcome everyone back to Ashton Gate. As this didn’t happen, Everyone Active have stepped in so that we can all still celebrate all of the miles and smile that we have seen over the last two months.”

Non Everyone Active members can get involved in the celebration event on Sunday as well, the event will be broadcast on Bristol Sport Foundation’s live streaming platform

Leading the class will be two members of cycling royalty – three time Olympic cyclist, Oli Beckingsale and world record holding round the world cyclist, Mark Beaumont for a final push to raise money for our foundations!

You can join in with the cycling on your own turbo or static bike at home or simply sit back and enjoy the show!
